Mission Offerings – A mission envelope was sent home today and may be brought back anytime this week.

Spelling Words – This week is a review unit. The lessons review the spelling patters and words from units 1-5. We will not have a pretest! The final test on Friday will consist of 25 random words from units 1-5.

Midterm Grade Reports – Please sign and return your child’s progress report by this Friday, October 5th. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me.

Harvest Celebration – This Friday, October 5th, from 6-9 PM, is Apostles’ Harvest Fest. Invite friends to come with you so they can check out our campus and join in the fun, games, candy, and music. The cost is only $4 per child and $1 per adult!

Book Orders – Scholastic book and software orders forms were sent home today. If you are interested in ordering anything, please be sure to send the form(s) back by this Friday, October 5th. A reminder that only checks will be accepted and they must be made out to Scholastic Books.

No School – Next Monday, October 8th, there will be no school. The teachers have an inservice day.

Singing in Church – Our next opportunity to sing in church is next Sunday, October 14th, at the 8:45 AM service.

Keeping Children Safe – This is the name of the class that was formerly known as Youth Worker Training. Everyone who works or helps with children and youth from Nursery Care ages through the High School ages in any capacity needs to attend one of these classes every year. This now includes Apostles members and non-members alike. This also includes drivers for field trips! Our first field trip is in two weeks; those of you that signed up to drive please make sure you take the class! Please check the dates and times posted around campus for a class that fits your schedule. If you have any questions, please talk to Pastor Kronebusch or Pastor Bork.

Parent/Teacher Conference Forms – Please return the parent/teacher sign up form by this Friday, October 5th. The teachers plan to set up a schedule at the inservice meetings next Monday, so it is important that we have all the forms back by this Friday! Thanks!
