Mission Offerings – A mission envelope was sent home today and may be brought back anytime this week.

Spelling Words – The spelling words for Unit 4 were sent home today.

Field Trip – We will be going on our first field trip on Thursday, October 18th, to the Monterey Bay Aquarium. A permission form was sent home today. Please read all the information carefully!

School Pictures – School pictures will be taken this Wednesday, September 19th. Don’t forget to return the envelope with a check if you wish to order a package of your child’s picture!

Box Top Books – A book order form was sent home today. This is different than the Scholastic book orders. Books that are ordered off of this form earn Box Tops. If you are interested in ordering anything, please make checks out to Box Tops for Education. The orders are due this Friday, September 21st.

Standardized Testing – Next week we will be taking the standardized tests. Please make sure your child is here on time each day. Also, if possible, please schedule doctor, dentist, etc. appointments after the school day hours.

Tests – On Wednesday we will have a math test.

Friday we will have an English test on unit 1. The students will be assigned a pretest
on Wednesday where they can use their books for help. The final test will be very
similar but they won’t be able to use their books!
