Thursday – None (Monterey Bay Aquarium field trip)
Friday – None (Collaboration Day)

Mission Offerings – A mission envelope was sent home today and may be brought back anytime this week.

Spelling Words – Spelling words for Unit 8 were sent home today.

Wildlife Associates – This Monday, October 15th, at 9:30 AM there will be a Wildlife Associates Assembly in the church entry way. The whole school will be attending this assembly and parents and other church members are invited to attend as well.

Singing in Church – Thank you for bringing your child to church on Sunday! Their songs sounded great!

Collaboration Day – This Friday, October 19th, classes will dismiss at noon due to a collaboration afternoon for the faculty. If your child is staying for any part of homeroom, be sure to pack a lunch for him/her since there will be no hot lunch!

“Keeping Children Safe” – There are two more opportunities for taking this class, this Monday and Wednesday (Oct. 15 & 17) from 3:30-4:30 PM. In order to drive or come along on any field trips this year you must have taken this classs.

Field Trip – This Thursday is our field trip to the Monterey Bay Aquarium. We will be leaving school at 9:30 AM and will return at 3:00 PM. Those of you that signed up to drive, please meet outside of the 4th grade classroom at 9:15.

Please be sure that your child’s lunch is fairly easy to eat since we will be taking lunch with us and eating in a picnic area.
