Mission Offerings – A mission envelope was sent home today and may be brought back anytime this week.
Spelling Words – Due to the short week of school there will be no spelling or spelling test this week.
Monday Mile – The students did a great job with running/walking the mile last Monday! We hope to see them improve each week!
Book Orders – Scholastic book and software order forms were sent home today. If you are interested in ordering anything, please be sure to return the form(s) back with a check (no cash will be accepted) made out to Scholastic Books by next Friday, November 16th.
Please note, the book order forms for December were also sent home. Including them with the November order will ensure that books will be delivered before Christmas vacation begins. As a teacher, I must admit that books make great gifts for children! If you are interested in ordering books as a gift for your child and wish to keep them a secret, then just hand the form(s) to me privately or send it back in a sealed envelope. I will then keep the books when they come and give them to you at a time when your child won’t know about it.
No School – There will be no school this Thursday and Friday, November 8-9. The teachers will be attending the Arizona/California Teachers’ Conference held in Phoenix.
Collaboration Day – Next Friday, November 16th, classes will dismiss at noon due to a collaboration afternoon for the faculty.
