Mission Offerings – A mission envelope was sent home today and may be brought back anytime this week.
Spelling Words – The spelling words for Unit 3 were sent home today.
Singing in Church – Thank you for bringing your child to church on Sunday to sing! The song sounded very nice!
Field Trip – We will be going on our first field trip on Tuesday, October 7th, to the Oakland Zoo. Please watch for more information to come home in the near future.
School Pictures – School pictures will be taken next Wednesday, September 17th. Information was sent home last week about the school pictures.
Math Test – Tuesday will be our first math test. It will be based on lessons 1-10. Today (Monday) the students worked through a practice test so they could see what types of problems will be on the test. I will always give the students a practice test a few days before the test. Usually the practice test will be optional for the students to complete; however, there will be times that they are required to complete it and/or have it signed by a parent.
“Keeping Our Kids Safe” Training – If you plan to drive/chaperone for any field trips, or if you plan to work with students in any other way, please be sure to take the Keeping Our Kids Safe class! Classes are scheduled for:
~ Monday, September 8 at 7:15 p.m.
~ Wednesday, September 10 at 7:00 p.m.
~ Saturday, September 20 at 10:00 a.m.
~ Monday, September 22 at 6:15 p.m.
