Mission Offerings – A mission envelope was sent home today and may be brought back anytime this week.

Spelling Words – Spelling words for Unit 8 were sent home today.

Math Test – Thursday we will have a math test. A practice test, which is optional to complete, will be given to the students on Tuesday.

Book Orders – With the “busy-ness” of last week I completely forgot to send home the Scholastic book flyers! Sorry! However, they were sent home today. If you are interested in ordering anything, please be sure to send the form(s) back by this Friday, October 17th. NO CASH will be accepted! Make checks out Scholastic Books. Please attach your check to the form with a paper clip or in an envelope or ziploc bag.

Wildlife Associates Assembly – This Wednesday, October 15th, at 9:30 AM there will be a Wildlife Associates Assembly in the church entry way. The whole school will be attending this assembly and parents and other church members are invited to attend as well.

“Fun-raiser” – This Thursday, October 16th, from 5:00-8:00 p.m., you are invited to help support our school and get to know Apostles’ friends and neighbors at Sweet Tomatoes on Bernal Ave. Apostles will earn 15% of the meals purchased (A drink must also be purchased!). In order to qualify, your purchase must be accompanied by the official fliers which are available in the school office. Your child will also be bringing home a flier this week. Please pass along a flier to your friends and relatives who might be interested in supporting our school as well.

Collaboration Day – This Friday, October 17th, classes will dismiss at noon due to a collaboration afternoon for the faculty.

Reformation Service – Next Sunday, October 26th, at 4:00 p.m. we will be hosting the Bay Area Reformation Service. People from other areas WELS churches will also be joining us for this special service. Invite a friend or neighbor to join us in celebrating the reform back to the true Christian teachings according to the Bible.

Fall Musical – Next Friday, October 24th, at 7:00 p.m., students in grades 1-3 will perform the fall musical “Go Fish!” The dress rehearsal is Thursday, October 23rd, at 9:45 a.m., which all students will be attending.
