Mission Offerings – A mission envelope was sent home today and may be brought back anytime this week.

Spelling Words – Spelling words for Unit 7 were sent home today.

Take-Home Folders – Please be sure to check your child’s take-home folder every day! This is where all notes, forms, incompletes, fix-its, graded papers, etc. from school will be! It is essential that you check every day to be sure that you haven’t missed any important notes or information!

Field Trip – This Tuesday is our field trip to the Oakland Zoo. We will be leaving school at 9:00 AM and will return at 3:00 PM. Those of you that signed up to drive, please meet outside of the 4th grade classroom at 8:45.

Please be sure that your child’s lunch is fairly easy to eat since we will be taking lunch with us and eating in a picnic area. Also, make sure your child has a jacket or sweatshirt and is wearing comfortable walking shoes.

Book Orders – Scholastic book order and software order forms were sent home today. If you are interested in ordering anything, please be sure to send the form(s) back by this Friday, October 10th. NO CASH will be accepted! Make checks out Scholastic Books. Please attach your check to the form with a paper clip or in an envelope or ziploc bag.

Harvest Celebration – This Friday, October 10th, from 6-9 PM, is Apostles’ Harvest Fest. Invite friends to come with you so they can check out our campus and join in the fun, games, candy, and music. The cost is only $4 per child and $1 per adult!

Wildlife Associates Assembly – Next Wednesday, October 15th, at 9:30 AM there will be a Wildlife Associates Assembly in the church entry way. The whole school will be attending this assembly and parents and other church members are invited to attend as well.

Collaboration Day – Next Friday, October 17th, classes will dismiss at noon due to a collaboration afternoon for the faculty.
