Easter for Kids – This Saturday, April 4th, from 9:00 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. is Easter for Kids. Children ages 3 years old through 4th grade are invited to attend! The children will learn the meaning of Easter through Bible stories, crafts, singing Easter songs, and an Easter Egg Hunt. We’d love for your child and any others you know to join us and learn about the love that Jesus has for all the little children.
Holy Week – Next week is Holy Week. Church services are Maundy Thursday at 5:00 and 7:00 p.m. and Good Friday at 2:00 and 7:00 p.m. Easter Sunday service times are 7:30, 8:45, and 11:15 a.m. An Easter brunch will be served after the 7:30 and 8:45 services.
Encouragement to Stay for Worship - Worship services are an important part of our school’s educational program, as was explained prior to enrollment. Worshipping is an outflow or response of faith, which we are nurturing through the school, therefore we strongly urge families to attend worship and stay for the whole service when the children come to sing. An additional problem occurs when people leave during the service as it is disruptive to worshippers and can also give the impression that worship is not important; we don’t want that message to be given to the children or other worshippers. Therefore, we ask that families take to heart the encouragement to stay for all of the worship service.
